Towards a better future

Aide Philippines is a Luxembourgish non-profit organisation dedicated to humanitarian aid in the Philippines. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people affected by natural disasters, poverty and emergencies.

With the aim of strengthening our humanitarian impact, we have joined forces with ALAL (Amitié Luxembourg-Amérique Latine) and are currently in the process of merging both organisations.

Deeply committed

On 15 October 2013, a powerful earthquake shook the whole of the Philippine archipelago. Only three weeks later, the country was ravaged by another major cataclysm: Super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).

This is the context from which Aide Philippines draws its origins. Sparked by a spontaneous initiative that provided first response disaster relief, the organisation was founded shortly after to ensure the continuous provision of essential humanitarian aid.

Since then, Aide Philippines has evolved and grown into a strong and versatile organisation, illustrating the power of solidarity in the face of adversity.

Our Areas of Operation

Current projects

WeGoSolar

We bring light into the homes of families in need and improve their quality of life with the help of small solar panels.

BePrepared

In collaboration with MiiR.concepts and TESDA, we are laying the groundwork for a training centre on the island of Cebu to offer specialised training programmes.

Scholarship

Many families cannot afford to send their children to school because they lack the financial means. This is why we provide scholarships for students in need.
