Lëtzebuerger Guiden a Scouten Déifferdeng have decided to donate the proceeds from their Buergbrennen event to Aide Philippines – ALAL.
At their General Assembly at Chalet Hondsbësch on Friday, they presented a cheque for €450 in the presence of our Secretary Christophe Froehling. In a few words, he described the work of our organisation and highlighted some of our ongoing projects, such as the sustainable energy initiative WeGoSolar, which will enter its second phase in only a few days. At that moment, the President was already on his way to Cebu to make the necessary preparations.
“Many of our members were and are still active in the scouts. And this scouting spirit is also reflected in our organisation” Chris explained. “Your donation helps us in our mission to support people in precarious living conditions and make the world a little better.”
Christophe Froehling expressed his gratitude to LGS Déifferdeng on his own behalf, on behalf of the President Olivier Conrardy and on behalf of the entire organisation for their generous support.
